Teletovic verbally agreed to a 3-year $15.6 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets On 03 July 2012.This deal has since been changed to a 3-year $9 million contract, so as to qualify under the NBA collective bargaining agreement's mini mid-level exception.He made his NBA debut on November 5, 2012 in a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He scored 5 points. On January 5, 2013, Teletovic recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks in a win over the Sacramento Kings. On March 1, 2013, Nets head coach PJ Carlesimo said that he intended to put Teletovic in the Nets rotation, along with giving him consistent minutes.
