Originally opened in 1984 as the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, it underwent significant renovations between 2014 and 2015. The arena's distinctive pyramidal architecture features sloping walls covered with grass, and it can accommodate between 7,000 and 20,300 spectators, depending on the event configuration. It hosts a wide range of events, including the ATP Paris Masters tennis tournament, basketball games, concerts by international artists, and martial arts festivals. The arena is operated by SEM POPB, a public-private partnership where the City of Paris holds a 52% stake and American entertainment group Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) owns the remaining 48% .?
