Arena Coliseo is a historic and iconic indoor arena in Mexico City, best known as one of the birthplaces of lucha libre (Mexican professional wrestling). Opened in 1943, it was built by wrestling promoter Salvador Lutteroth, who used lottery winnings to fund the construction. Often called "El Embudo de la Lagunilla" (The Lagunilla Funnel) for its tight, atmospheric seating, it quickly became a cultural landmark.

The venue has hosted countless legendary matches, particularly under the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), making it a mecca for wrestling fans. Though smaller than Arena M?xico, its intimate setting creates a raw, electric environment, perfect for experiencing traditional lucha libre.
