Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro famously known as Cristainao Ronaldo is a football super star. He was the last child of Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and Jose Dinis Aveiro. His father named him after the former US president Ronald Reagan, his dad's favorite actor. He started playing his favorite sport at the age of eight for local side Andorinha. Later in 1998 he signed for Sporting Clube de Portugal, made his debut in 2002 against Moreirense and went on to score a brace in that match.

Ronaldo's outstanding skill and close control was admired by many clubs in Europe. Sir Alex Ferguson, the manager of Manchester United signed him from Sporting CP. He was the first Portuguese player to sign for the English Giants Manchester United. His special skills earned him the famous No. 7 jersey at Old Trafford. He was then sold to European and Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2009 season. He was signed for a record transfer fee of $131.6 million.
