MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL - MLB

Major League Baseball is one of the four major sports leagues in North America. This league was formed in in 1869 and teams originally were categorized to American League and National League. Then was merged in 2000 by the Commissioner of Baseball.

Now MLB constitutes 30 teams - 29 from United States and one from Canada. Each team play 162 matches per season and top five teams of each group qualify to play in the Post season tournaments. New York Yankees are the most succesful team in the history of MLB, having won 27 World Series title.
