The Sunrisers Hyderabad is a team based in the city of Hyderabad that plays in the Indian Premier League. The team was founded on 25 October 2012 to replace the Deccan Chargers after the latter were terminated by the IPL Governing Council. The team is owned by Tamil Nadu based the Sun TV Network. Former Srilanka coach Tom Moody will be the Coach and former Indian team selector Kris Srikanth will be the chief Mentor. The team has high profile coaching staffs namely VVS Laxman (Mentor), Pakistan fast bowler Waqar Younis (Bowling Coach). SSH retained 20 players from the Deccan squad and Kumar Sangakkarra will remain as the skipper for IPL6.
